Mister Grief 03:55
Lyrics: I can see the light even though I know it isn't there I can see the light even though I can see the light even though I know it isn't there I can feel your touch even though I know you've dissapeared I can read your face even though it's just a lonely stare As I start to wonder what is or isn't there I'm not here I'm not here I'm not here I'm not here Please mister misery at least just leave me be You speak with tongue of mystery And I don't want to know what you have to say anyway Who of you can say you've displaced the space you own Your time on earth is a loan and you'll spend it all alone If you never grow away from the child of yourself If you never grow away from the child of yourself Please mister misery at least just leave me be You speak with tongue of mystery And I don't want to know what you have to say anyway

Pill 03:18
Lyrics: Found your place inside my trust He found his place between your legs I found my place inside your breath It's where you whispered out his name Found a pill inside his head You found a pipe right by my bed I put it there for you I put it there for you The only time we smile is with closed eyes We always smile as we die The only time we smile is with closed eyes We always smile as we die You found your place inside my trust He found his knife inside my spine Hope you make it worth their while While they're waiting all in line

Silhouette 03:10
Lyrics: See your silhouette on the tracks and you're never coming back Leave it here on the floor in the trash to ignore until tomorrow, until tomorrow comes then pick it up No one will hold it up against your chest And bring it up just to see what they say Hey don't say it like that As if it really matters Hey don't say it like that As if it really matters Hey! See your silhouette on the tracks and you're never coming back leave it here on the floor in the trash to ignore until tomorrow until tomorrow comes then pick it up It's all for you x1000 I see your silhouette on the tracks and you're never never coming back x2

Lyrics: Sitting alone in a lonely chair Six broken legs and a lonely stare Who are you to ask who am I? When the time is right we'll fly fly die away Sitting alone in a lonely chair Six broken legs and a lonely stare Who are you to ask who am I? When the time is right we'll fly fly die away Seen the light now you want to know Where does it come from where does it go? Think about what you wanted to be, look in the mirror now what do you see? What the fuck happened? x3

Lyrics: There's really nothing left There's really nothing left to save I don't want to say it anymore you had your chance and now it's gone You had your chance and now it's gone away, away, away I don't want to say it anymore you had your chance and now it's gone away, away I don't know if I should compete I'm just one man with just two feet I only know I'm stuck right here Alone without your ugly fear And if i catch you coming back to me I'll make sure you leave it be There's really nothing left There's really nothing left to save I don't want to say it anymore you've had your chance and now it's gone x4

Lyrics: Tapered to an alcoholic fetus You will drown yourself it seems because you got stung by the birds and bees If I can't see it, it's not real, what I can't feel I don't know If I can't see it it's not real, what I can't feel I don't know I don't It's not my fault It's not my fault It's not my fault It's not my fault It's not my If I can't see it, it's not real, what I can't feel I don't know If I can't see it it's not real, what I can't feel I don't know Kneeling at the feet of a decision you barely made As you begin to fade you wonder I don't know

Causa Sui 05:09
Lyrics: I can see clearly In the snow Where my blood will go When it falls in the fall And when it rains I'll feel the pain of tomorrow, today I'll feel the pain of tomorrow, today And know what it is to be alone You can stay with the pimps and whores And their credit scores x3 Stuck with myself In the cold Where the world is growing mold Ask a friend if he knows And with the fear I hear repeated in some vectors ear Wait for the blood and snow to clear And enjoy knowing what it is to be alone You can stay with the pimps and whores And their credit scores

about

"The music, itself, varies from minimal, clean/reverberated guitar, vocoder drenched vocals, and synthesized seasoning, to clashy drum kits, electronic pop beats, and well-produced, albeit natural sounding catchy vocal harmonies. Take all of the in between that can arise from such possibilities and the endless amount of ideas one or two individuals can fathom, let it sit in a marinade of fluorescent ambience, and you have "&"." - Kyle Patrick via groopease.com

"From the slower jams to the danceable hits, this release is one that shouldn’t be dismissed" - thewildhoneypie.com

"This duo has the potential to create brilliant music." -Nathan Hall via catchyname.tumblr.com

"Indie-electro pop with a particularly urban feel. They have a knack for balancing melodic guitar chords with electo synths, without either one overpowering the other... both mellow and moody, and these two young musicians certainly prove that, yes, you can have a band with just two people. " - theknifefight.com

"They bring to the table a heavy dose of brooding, dark electro pop that brings the all of the nigh time demons to life." - handclapmovement.com

"The epitome of DIY from Farmington Hills." - thesetlist-tsl.tumblr.com

"Brilliant...expect big things." - Brett at Cityslang blogs.metrotimes.com

about

Nigel & The Dropout Detroit, Michigan

The Detroit based two piece looped themselves into a spacious soundscape filled with soaring guitars clashing with heavily chopped samples, hard hitting percussion, ambient synth and layered vocal harmonies.

A nightmare of tangled cables and dazzling lights illuminate a performance void of the inhuman laptop automation and sequencing seen far too often today.

Everything you see and hear - we do.
